700m of Festoon Lighting & Event Electrics for Wildfire Adventure Camp

LUX Electrics were commissioned by Leefest Ltd, the Festival organisers of the Wildfire Adventure Camp to provide 700m of Festoon Lighting along with a pair of our 20kVA & 60kVA generators.  Complemented by our LED flood lights the festoon provided a practical and decorative solution for the beautiful forest site in Kent.

As well as the site lighting our Denyo EVENTA generators provided power for the various festival Stages, Traders, Activities, Showers and Site services. The site had its challenges as everything was so spread out, but we managed cable runs through the trees and protected runs with our Adam Hall Defender Ramp (which also provided protection for the site water supplies).

Un-phased by the excessive rain and mud, the LUX Team had the generators sited and power on for all the services by the time festival goers arrived on Friday afternoon and ensured the generators were safely running for the duration of the weekend.

Event Power for 2016 Goniec Polish Festival

Approached earlier in the year by the organisers of the 2016 Polish Festival, LUX was challenged with providing 67 traders, production infrastructure and inflatable arches with electricity for the one day event. One of the main challenges being that the site was 'open', there was no perimeter fence for safely protecting cable runs. 

We provided a solution in the form of our 60 & 100 kVA ultra silent generators. With the 100 kVA supplying the stage and nearby traders and the 60 kVA supplying the food traders. We safely managed the cable runs using over 200m of our Adam Hall Defender Cable Ramp and we ensured that each traders supply was in turn protected by a 30mA RCBO.

LUX Technical provided a turnkey production solution for the Festival on Ealing Common, suppling a 10 x 6m Trailer Stage, Lighting and a comprehensive Sound package.

Site Electrics for Southall Mela

LUX Technical were delighted to be approached by the organisers of the 2016 Southall Mela, to provide silent power generation and electrical distribution across Southall Park. LUX provided temporary electrics for the Main Stage & Production areas, as well as protected circuits for 22 of the traders and caterers marquees.

We designed the generation and distribution to be run from our Denyo EVENTA 100 and EVENTA 60 generators. 

LUX Technical provide Event Production & Power for Heart FM

For the second consecutive year LUX Technical were pleased to be approached by Global Radio, to support Heart FM's sponsorship of West Midlands Safari Park annual firework display.  The popular two day event takes place in the car park of the Safari Park, which is a complex site. LUX Technical supplied their Prolyte Arc roof stage, distributed RCF Line Array system and a pair of Denyo EVENTA 60 Ultra Silent Generators. We had a full production team and site electrician on site for the duration of the build and event, which see thousands of spectators across the two days.

Site Lighting & Power Generation for Stamford Georgian Festival

In August 2015 LUX were approached by the organisers of the Stamford Georgian Festival to supply a generator & site lighting for the Stamford Georgian Festival.  The outdoor event took place on the Meadows in the Heart of Stamford, Lincolnshire.  LUX Provided a Denyo Eventa 20kVA generator, single phase distribution and four 400w MBI discharge floodlights, to light the large performance space before the spectacular fireworks display.  The floodlights were rigged from LUX Technical's H30V Prolyte Rigging Towers, from which our RCF HDL line array was also safely suspended.

LUX Electrics provide power for the 2015 BGL Sport Bash

LUX Technical were delighted to be approached by Dean Headly, for the 3rd consecutive year, to provide the BGL sport bash with complete event production services. As well as providing our new Prolyte Arc roof Stage and PA for the field at Stamford Endowed Schools, the LUX Electrics team provided three ultra silent denyo generators for the Stage, Catering, Inflatables and Marquee. The event power package consisted of 20kVA, 60kVA & 100kVA Ultra silent denyo generators, three phase distribution, cabling and Adam Hall defender cable ramp.

LUX Electrics provide Ultra Silent 60kVA & 100kVA Generators for Ealing Council.

LUX Technical were approached by The Event Umbrella, on behalf of Ealing Council, to provide silent generators for the 2015 Acton Carnival. LUX provided the two generators on compact road tow trailers, along with mains distribution and cabling for the local traders market, the main inflatable stage roof and PA. LUX ensured that there was a site electrician on hand for any issues and to provide assistance to the traders whilst connecting and disconnecting from the temporary supplies. Each electrical circuit provided for the traders and stage production team was individually protected by a 30mA RCBO from custom mains distribution boards. Cabling was safely run across the site in Adam Hall Defender Midi Cable ramp.

LUX also provided two smaller 6kVA generators and flood lighting for the site security & production cabins, these were delivered a few days prior to the event, to provide compact and efficient power for the production and security staff, whilst the event site was erected and dismantled.

 

Event Power for Coalville Picnic in the Park

Since 2013 LUX Technical has been providing super silent event generators for North West Leicestershire's annual event. Along with complete event production packages, LUX have supplied 20kVA generators for caterers and stall holders with 60kVA sets for Production & Stage power. Complete three phase, single phase cabling and adapter packages to ensure safe and easy temporary power connection for stall holders. A fantastic community event, it's great to be involved.
